Base Salary
$120k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain full-stack features across the SimpleClosure platform.
- Collaborate with Product and Design to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Develop maintainable frontend experiences using React and TypeScript.
- Build and integrate backend services, APIs, and data models for product workflows.
- Write well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
- Own features from technical design through deployment and iteration.
- Ensure performance, reliability, accessibility, and responsiveness across devices.
- Debug and resolve production issues while improving development processes, tooling, and code quality.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Strong experience with React and TypeScript; Next.js or similar frameworks are preferred.
- Experience implementing APIs and integrating third-party services.
- Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Ability to own projects from concept through deployment and iteration.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and adaptability skills.
- Familiarity with current agentic and coding technologies, including verifying model outputs.
- Must be located in the New York City Metro area.
- The company cannot support visas outside Canada and does not support H1B visas.
