Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write and test product or system development code.
- Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to select technologies.
- Review peer code and provide feedback on style, correctness, testability, and efficiency.
- Contribute to and update documentation or educational content.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues affecting hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of software development experience in C++, Go, or Python.
- 3 years of experience in distributed systems, operating systems, or low-level software such as Linux.
- 3 years of experience in computer architecture, server hardware, networking such as switches or routers, or out-of-band management.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Preferred: experience with large compute fleet management, Linux systems administration, networking operations, and algorithms and data structures.
