Base Salary
$170k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop deployment and integration-testing applications for bare-metal, on-premise systems across Crusoe’s AI Cloud.
- Build CI/CD platforms and tooling that enable reliable testing, iteration, and deployment of low-level systems and applications.
- Design and execute large-scale validation tests across multi-node virtualized GPU and CPU clusters.
- Maintain and scale bare-metal Linux configurations using configuration-management and observability tooling.
- Create control applications for canary deployments, blue/green testing, and automated rollback on production systems.
- Develop Python or Go frameworks to provision, configure, and stress-test multi-node virtualized environments.
- Build automated test suites using fio, stress-ng, and iperf to validate performance and multi-tenant isolation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience independently performing the responsibilities of the role.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience building and deploying automated integration testing from low-level Linux systems through distributed control planes.
- Demonstrated experience designing and deploying distributed microservice applications end to end in a cloud environment.
- Strong understanding of how compute, network, and storage resources are abstracted and managed in an IaaS environment.
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Postgres.
- Intimate knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and GitLab tooling.
- Experience with one or two configuration-management systems, including Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or SaltStack.
- Knowledge of Linux kernel internals, including PCIe topology, VFIO, HugePages, and IOMMU.
- Bonus qualifications include familiarity with NVIDIA CUDA/NCCL or AMD ROCm/RCCL, RDMA, RoCE, InfiniBand, MNNVL, NVIDIA Nsight, AMD Omniperf, and GPU device plugins.
