Lead Software Engineer - Financial Risk Integration

Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture and development of Risk Fusion services.
  • Design APIs and ETL pipelines for seamless integration.
  • Implement ETL flows to extract instrument terms and conditions from SimCorp Dimension, map them to Axioma Risk format, and import them into Axioma Risk.
  • Collaborate with Product, Consulting, and QA teams.
  • Develop automated tests for new features.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of software engineering experience.
  • Experience with SQL and REST APIs.
  • Experience building ETL pipelines and data integrations.
  • Basic understanding of pricing methodologies for equities, bonds, foreign exchange, futures, options, and OTC derivatives.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • CFA, FRM, or equivalent financial certification is valued.
  • Understanding of OTC instrument terms and conditions, including swaps, FX forwards, and TRS, is valued.
  • Understanding of VaR, stress testing, factor risk, and other risk analytics is valued.
  • Experience with Axioma Risk workflows and integration is valued.
