Senior Oracle Database Developer

Responsibilities
- Develop database applications using PL/SQL and SQL to address business needs.
- Analyze, design, implement, and support Risk Data Governance and Trading systems.
- Provide support for production, QA, and development environments.
- Tune and optimize database systems and queries using different tools.
- Translate functional requirements into defined scopes of work and assess application options.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, management, and technical teams on major functionality and technical issues.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and occasional weekend work.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience with Oracle.
- Experience with PL/SQL database application development, including triggers, packages, functions, procedures, complex SQL, Oracle collections, and object types.
- Work experience with Unix/Linux.
- Knowledge of SQL query tuning and query plan management.
- Strong problem-solving, issue-identification, analytical, and technical documentation skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced business environment.
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- RAC experience is a plus.
- Shell or Perl experience is a plus.
- GoldenGate experience is a plus.
- PostgreSQL experience is a plus.
