Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain digitalization and automation solutions using Windchill, ThingWorx, and related technologies.
- Gather requirements and provide technical expertise to cross-functional teams.
- Perform expert-level Windchill API customization, configuration, code maintenance, and business-process improvement.
- Manage build processes and identify opportunities for de-customization.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues, perform root-cause analysis, and suggest workarounds.
- Ensure software scalability, performance, and security.
- Manage Innoface and Granta integrations.
- Route, assign, monitor, and resolve issues, including configuration-related issues and predictive-analysis findings.
- Communicate technical information effectively with stakeholders and users.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or information systems.
- 8–11 years of professional experience.
- Expertise in PLM concepts and expert-level Windchill customization.
- Profound knowledge of PTC ThingWorx, Windchill, Kepware, and associated applications.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript and Python or similar.
- Hands-on programming experience with Java, JavaScript, AJAX, JSP, PL/SQL, SOAP, Info Engine, and Linux shell scripting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication skills with users from other cultural backgrounds.
