Responsibilities
- Build and maintain components for LSEG’s Elektron Real Time Data Distribution System.
- Collaborate with product owners, team leads, architects, and global teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Develop reliable and robust solutions with consistent attention to quality and security.
- Participate in Scrum meetings and provide timely status updates on assigned work.
- Develop knowledge of technology products and tools through on-the-job learning, certifications, and projects.
- Maintain the team knowledge base and document technical issue resolutions.
- Contribute to development and migration initiatives using cloud technologies.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of strong Java experience for cross-platform development, particularly on Linux.
- Strong experience with the Spring framework and REST API development using Spring Boot, JPA, JWT, OAuth2, and Dojo.
- Strong experience with Angular, Node.js, and React.
- Development and migration experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of Git concepts, development and release pipelines, branching strategies, CI/CD, and release strategies.
- Excellent verbal communication and written documentation skills, with the ability to adapt to evolving technical requirements.
- Degree-level qualification in Computing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and building automation is desirable.
