Responsibilities
- Maintain, enhance, and operate the organization-wide cloud platform.
- Design and implement cloud-native, microservices-based payment-system architecture.
- Use Kubernetes for container orchestration and build scalable, reliable, and highly available components.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to support system performance and availability.
- Evaluate technologies and recommend tools and frameworks for payment infrastructure.
- Develop resilient cloud components and apply security best practices to containers and clusters.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience rearchitecting large-scale monolithic applications into cloud-native architectures.
- At least 8 years of experience with cloud computing platforms, including AWS, serverless architectures, containers, and orchestration.
- Strong cloud engineering or DevOps experience in AWS or Azure.
- Strong Kubernetes experience, specifically EKS or AKS, and knowledge of cloud networking.
- Expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code is required.
- Experience with payment industry standards, protocols, and security best practices.
- Knowledge of load-balancing algorithms.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Azure DevOps experience is highly desired but not required.
- Computer Science or object-oriented coding experience is preferred.
