Responsibilities
- Define enterprise AI architecture principles, standards, reference architectures, and reusable solution patterns.
- Design, build, and continuously improve the Unified AI Platform, including reusable AI services, orchestration frameworks, model integrations, APIs, and shared platform capabilities.
- Architect GenAI, Agentic AI, RAG, and intelligent automation solutions for enterprise use cases.
- Define standards for prompt management, model orchestration, vector databases, AI security, guardrails, observability, and AI operations.
- Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical governance before AI solution implementation.
- Evaluate AI models, frameworks, cloud AI services, platforms, and vendor products through hands-on experimentation and technical recommendations.
- Develop prototypes, proofs of concept, reference implementations, solution accelerators, templates, frameworks, and other reusable engineering assets.
- Provide technical leadership during solution delivery, production deployments, performance optimization, and complex issue resolution.
- Mentor AI engineers and development teams on architecture, engineering practices, and solution design.
- Collaborate with Business, Product Management, Enterprise Architecture, Data Engineering, Information Security, Risk, Compliance, and AI Governance teams.
Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech and a degree in AI/ML from a premier institute.
- 18+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, cloud architecture, or enterprise architecture.
- At least four years of AI experience.
- Two to four years of hands-on experience delivering production-grade Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions.
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale solution architectures and enterprise AI platforms or AI-enabled applications.
- Experience architecting cloud-native AI solutions on AWS and integrating AI solutions with enterprise applications, APIs, data platforms, and business workflows.
- Experience defining reusable architecture patterns, technical standards, and engineering best practices.
- Experience working in Agile product development and DevSecOps environments.
- Experience collaborating with business, product, security, data, and governance teams.
- Experience in Financial Services, Mortgage, Banking, or another regulated industry is preferred.
