Responsibilities
- Develop software solutions that improve operational efficiency and provide visibility into performance metrics.
- Build AI-based automation to reduce errors, increase system availability, and accelerate operational velocity.
- Develop orchestration tools and automation to optimize system efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Design, develop, and test scalable, secure software for global production environments.
- Provide high-level support for Puppet and Oracle operational workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering, development, architecture, support, and stakeholder teams to resolve dependencies and incorporate feedback.
- Mentor other engineers and provide constructive feedback during design reviews.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a cloud-native enterprise environment.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Python, Go, and Terraform.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP, Kubernetes, and Karpenter.
- Strong knowledge of database operations, preferably Oracle, and Postgres.
- Understanding of operating-system-level systems fundamentals, including Linux internals, process management, memory management, and file systems.
- Proven experience with Puppet.
- Track record of delivering impactful features in complex, fast-paced environments.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Kibana, and REST API design is preferred.
- Knowledge of fault tolerance, security, scalability, engineering best practices, collaboration, and technical leadership is expected.

- The annual base salary range is $148,500–$223,900, or $178,900–$246,000 in select San Francisco and New York City metropolitan areas.
