Responsibilities
- Design, implement, document, and maintain secure, scalable Python microservices and automations.
- Administer Kubernetes clusters, including deployment, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Develop integrations with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle Integration Cloud, and Oracle REST Data Services.
- Automate CI/CD pipelines and manage application and service lifecycles.
- Perform code reviews, testing, resource tuning, observability, incident response, bug tracking, and security reviews.
- Collaborate with business users, application managers, technical teams, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Support Oracle service disruption communications, release management, standard operating procedures, and knowledge-base development.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience developing cloud-based microservices, including at least 2 years with Oracle Cloud application services.
- At least 2 years of experience with containers, including Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Experience planning and implementing cloud application services in global, multinational, and multi-vendor environments.
- Proven service excellence, stakeholder relationship management, and coordination of multidisciplinary internal and external teams.
- Required skills include Python, Oracle Python SDK, Oracle Database 12c and 19c development, Oracle Kubernetes Engine, Oracle Object Storage, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, API development, authentication strategies, and error handling.
- Recommended experience includes document management, merging document types, SFTP, Fusion products, and message queue handling.
