Responsibilities
- Ensure the stable, reliable, and efficient operation of CLM, CRM, and integrated third-party applications.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents and complex technical issues.
- Design, develop, test, and implement code fixes for application defects.
- Perform root cause analysis, deliver permanent resolutions, and optimize applications and services.
- Maintain and enhance existing applications to meet changing client and business requirements.
- Collaborate with business analysts, service managers, product teams, and project delivery teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in client workshops and support requirements analysis.
- Support functional validation, defect fixing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing.
- Maintain technical documentation and promote knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Use Jira and work within the team’s agile processes and ticketing workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or an equivalent field.
- At least 6 years of professional experience.
- Experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or similar in banking or financial services.
- Strong programming, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of RDBMS, Oracle SQL queries, Oracle PL/SQL, and Java.
- Unix, Python, or similar experience is valuable.
- Experience with software design, development, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with software development best practices, version control systems, and CI/CD concepts.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A self-motivated, proactive, organized approach and commitment to continuous learning.
- Full professional fluency in written and spoken English.
- Experience with application support, incident management, or service operations is a bonus.
- Knowledge of CLM, AML, KYC, onboarding, and related third-party solutions is a bonus.
- Familiarity with cloud environments, Docker, Kubernetes, automation, and monitoring tools is a bonus.
- Avaloq Core knowledge or certification is a bonus.
- Experience with modern software engineering practices is a bonus.
