Base Salary
$120k - $135k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, sustain, and modernize software applications and shared services.
- Write, modify, debug, test, validate, and maintain application code and specialized utility programs.
- Perform integration testing, quality assurance testing, security functionality testing, resiliency testing, and corrective-action research.
- Apply encryption, access control, identity management, and other cybersecurity principles to software development.
- Automate builds, testing, and deployments while supporting version control, artifact management, and secure CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop documentation, release packages, work items, policies, standards, and architecture-related system and service views.
- Support production outages, customer consultations, internal review and change boards, and quality audits.
- Collaborate with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, development teams, security teams, and operations teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a technical major such as engineering or computer science, or a substitution of two years of college/technical knowledge plus three to five years of related work experience.
- At least five years of work experience in modern software development.
- At least five years of experience with one or more relevant technology areas, including C#/.NET, web development, Oracle, middleware, scripting, APIs, or container technologies.
- Experience with Java 8 or higher, JavaScript, jQuery, XML, XML Schema, SQL, Oracle databases, .NET, and C#.
- Required IAM Level I certification: CompTIA Security+.
- At least three years of experience with agile concepts and teams, DevOps tools and practices, cloud-native architectures, and Infrastructure as Code, as specified across the qualifications.
- At least one year of experience with a Platform as a Service environment such as Appian or Salesforce.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Microsoft O365, Teams, Excel, Visio, Outlook, cybersecurity tools, vulnerability scanners, intrusion detection systems, Bash, or PowerShell is required or desirable across the listed qualifications.
- Knowledge of Navy or DoD supply processes and interfaces and experience in government or DoD environments are desirable.
- Strong security, analytical, communication, collaboration, problem-solving, organizational, planning, adaptability, and automation skills are required.
Benefits
- Projected annual compensation is $120,000 to $135,000 USD.
- The compensation strategy considers education, knowledge, skills, experience, contract affordability, organizational requirements, and position location.
- The role is based in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, and includes prolonged desk and computer work with physical requirements that may be performed with reasonable accommodation.
