Responsibilities
- Architect and design scalable, high-performance applications using .NET Core/.NET 8+ and C#.
- Drive technical decisions involving Microsoft frameworks, design patterns, and architecture.
- Establish coding standards, best practices, and code review processes.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions with Product Management and stakeholders.
- Design and implement APIs, microservices, and distributed systems using ASP.NET Core.
- Use Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code.
- Manage and optimize SQL Server databases, including performance tuning, indexing, and data modeling.
- Identify technical debt and performance bottlenecks and lead continuous improvement.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, estimation, and delivery.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and advancements in the .NET and Microsoft ecosystems.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software development experience on the Microsoft technology stack.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with .NET Core/.NET 5+ and C#.
- Deep expertise in ASP.NET Core Web API, MVC patterns, middleware, and dependency injection.
- Strong proficiency with Entity Framework Core, including migrations and query optimization.
- Advanced SQL Server skills, including stored procedures, performance tuning, indexing, and query plan analysis.
- Experience with Azure cloud services, including App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Azure Service Bus, Azure Key Vault, and Application Insights.
- Understanding of asynchronous programming, multithreading, and .NET performance optimization.
- Experience with unit and integration testing using xUnit and NUnit.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps for source control, CI/CD pipelines, work item tracking, and artifact management.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred experience with Docker, Azure event-driven services, Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), Microsoft Identity Platform, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Cache for Redis, Azure Blob Storage, Azure API Management, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Blazor, or MAUI.
- Microsoft certifications such as Azure Developer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect are preferred.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
