Responsibilities
- Act as a technical expert across all aspects of Snowflake.
- Deploy Snowflake according to best practices to ensure clients understand and can extend its functionalities.
- Demonstrate and communicate best practices for implementing Snowflake technology directly with clients.
- Showcase Snowflake's positioning in relation to competitors and complementary technologies.
- Collaborate with system integrator consultants to successfully position and deploy Snowflake in client environments.
- Provide solutions and guidance for client-specific technical challenges.
- Support the enhancement of team members' expertise and knowledge sharing.
- Continuously improve Snowflake's products and marketing in collaboration with product management, engineering, and marketing teams.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of technical customer engagement experience in post-sales technical delivery.
- Ability to accurately capture client needs and propose project approaches.
- Strong presentation and demonstration skills for both technical and executive audiences.
- Comprehensive understanding of the data analytics stack from ETL to data platform design and BI tools.
- Design and implementation skills in databases, data warehouses, and data processing.
- Extensive practical experience with SQL and SQL analytics.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, Perl, or Bash.
- Flexibility to work on-site with clients and travel as needed.
- Experience proposing, implementing, and leveraging AI/ML solutions to solve business challenges.
