Responsibilities
- Act as a technical expert across all aspects of Snowflake.
- Deploy Snowflake according to best practices and share knowledge so customers can correctly understand and extend its capabilities.
- Work hands-on with customers to demonstrate and communicate best practices for implementing Snowflake technologies.
- Maintain deep knowledge of competitors, complementary technologies, and vendors and appropriately position Snowflake among them.
- Collaborate with system integrator consultants at a deep technical level to position and deploy Snowflake successfully in customer environments.
- Provide solutions and guidance for customer-specific technical challenges.
- Support team members’ expertise development and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and marketing to continuously improve Snowflake products and marketing.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of technical customer-facing experience in post-sales technical delivery.
- Ability to understand customer needs and independently propose and drive project approaches.
- Strong presentation and demonstration skills for both technical and executive audiences.
- Understanding of the complete data analytics stack and workflow, from ETL and data platform design through BI and analytics tools.
- Design and implementation skills in databases, data warehouses, and data processing.
- Extensive practical experience with SQL and SQL analytics.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, Perl, and Bash.
- Ability and flexibility to work onsite with customers and travel as needed.
- Experience proposing, implementing, and using AI/ML solutions to solve business problems.
- Preferred experience with large-scale database technologies such as Redshift, Netezza, Exadata, and Teradata.
- Preferred experience with large-scale data processing tools such as Spark, Hadoop, and HBase.
- Preferred understanding and experience with BI and data exploration tools such as Tableau, Sigma, Qlik, Omni, and Looker.
- Preferred experience implementing ETL pipelines using custom and packaged tools.
- Preferred experience designing and building systems using public cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Preferred data migration project experience.
- Preferred AI/ML design and implementation experience on data analytics platforms.
- Preferred experience proposing and driving adoption of AI products including Snowflake Cortex.
- Preferred experience designing, prototyping, and implementing AI/ML and GenAI use cases.
- Preferred experience advising on MLOps, governance, monitoring, and security.
- Preferred experience with prompt engineering, LLM robustness, and AI-specific risk management.
