Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery and ongoing support of software projects.
- Contribute to the design of new features.
- Review peers’ code and advocate for standard methodologies.
- Facilitate engineering discussions and mentor junior engineers.
- Help establish engineering-wide standards for systems design, testing, code quality, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with a highly multifunctional engineering team.
Requirements
- Bring 7+ years of software development experience with Java, Python, NodeJS, and Go for APIs and services.
- Have experience with relational and non-relational persistence strategies.
- Be fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish.
- Be authorized to work in Mexico.
- Be highly skilled with modern technologies used to design, deliver, debug, and maintain front-end and back-end software systems.
- Have been recognized as a technical leader for several years with impact beyond the immediate team.
- Bring transferable skills or related experience from non-traditional backgrounds.
