Base Salary
$218k - $257k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own backend services supporting institutional clients from application through first trade, including Unified Business Onboarding, KYC Refresh, and provisioning.
- Drive automated screening, risk scoring, and auto-provisioning to reduce operational onboarding tickets.
- Design and implement the Organizations Service as the source of truth for institutional client data.
- Partner with Product, Compliance, Onboarding Operations, Identity, and Prime teams to deliver onboarding and access controls for new products.
- Shape roles, permissions, policies, and consensus capabilities in the access-control stack.
- Mentor engineers and improve technical quality through design reviews, incident response, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience building and maintaining production backend services in a service-oriented architecture.
- Production experience with Go or a similar language, gRPC/Protobuf, relational data stores, and observability tooling.
- Experience writing well-tested, production-grade code with high test coverage and structured code review practices.
- Comfort working in regulated, high-integrity domains such as identity, access control, KYC/AML, or financial onboarding.
- Ability to use generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
