Base Salary
$170k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and evolve the design system for aesthetic cohesion.
- Collaborate with PMs and engineers to align on feature requirements and feasibility.
- Document patterns and promote consistency across teams.
- Define the frontend development process as the first design engineer.
- Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, accessible interfaces.
- Design and implement UI interactions that enhance usability.
- Work closely with engineering to ensure component fidelity.
- Refactor existing surfaces to unify visual language.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with Javascript, Typescript, and React.
- Strong sense of ownership and urgency in a startup environment.
- Experience in fast-paced code deployment settings.
- Understanding of interaction patterns and usability principles.
- Proficient in Figma and modern developer workflows.
- Ability to solve complex problems independently.
- Willingness to work in-person 4-5 days a week.
