Base Salary

$170k - $210k/yr

Responsibilities

Own technical delivery for complex customer deployments from prototype through stable production use.
Plan, staff, prioritize, and govern forward deployed engineering engagements.
Partner with customer engineering, technical, operational, and domain teams to understand workflows and success criteria.
Design and build full-stack systems, integrations, configurations, and deployment workflows.
Write and review production-grade code across frontend, backend, data, and integration layers.
Configure and operationalize AI agents, retrieval workflows, data pipelines, and customer-specific integrations.
Scope technical work, sequence delivery, identify dependencies, and remove blockers.
Support production rollout, adoption, monitoring, troubleshooting, and iteration in customer environments.
Translate field learnings into reusable tools, playbooks, implementation patterns, and technical building blocks.
Provide feedback to Product, Engineering, and Research on models, workflows, and platform capabilities.
Support deployments in regulated environments with complex security and infrastructure constraints.
Lead broad technical functions through senior individual contributors or cross-functional delivery teams.

5+ years of engineering, technical deployment, solutions architecture, or customer-facing technical delivery experience.
Strong full-stack engineering experience building and shipping production web applications or enterprise systems.
Proficiency with Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, React, or comparable modern engineering stacks.
Experience scoping, designing, and delivering complex technical systems in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
Experience working directly with customers or end users to understand workflows and deliver practical solutions.
Strong understanding of APIs, data integrations, system architecture, cloud or on-premises environments, and production operations.
Experience building or deploying systems powered by LLMs, generative AI, machine learning models, retrieval systems, or data-intensive workflows.
Ability to make sound technical decisions, communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and operate with limited oversight.
Ability to travel up to 50% based on customer and deployment needs.
Preferred experience includes deploying AI, LLM, knowledge graph, semantic search, or agentic workflow systems in production.
Preferred experience includes enterprise security, compliance, identity, networking, data governance, regulated deployment environments, reusable deployment patterns, internal tools, technical playbooks, startup, or high-growth environments.

Lower Manhattan, New York office location with four days per week in the office.
Up to 50% travel may be required.
