Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, evaluate, and optimize production machine learning models and AI solutions.
- Build autonomous agentic AI and multi-agent systems with tool use, reasoning, planning, memory, and multi-step task execution.
- Develop and optimize large-scale ML pipelines for training, evaluation, and inference.
- Implement algorithms for natural language processing, computer vision, recommendation systems, and predictive analytics.
- Design and implement scalable microservices architectures, RESTful APIs, and event-driven AI systems.
- Build high-availability, fault-tolerant, and performant AI services across multiple programming languages.
- Implement automated testing and deployment pipelines for ML models.
- Mentor junior engineers and data scientists and promote engineering best practices.
- Lead technical design discussions, contribute to architectural decisions, conduct code reviews, and drive technical innovation.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, platform engineers, and other cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing microservices-based systems.
- Experience building autonomous AI agents with tool use, reasoning, planning, and multi-step task execution.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and Java.
- Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, Spring Boot, microservices frameworks, and concurrent programming.
- Experience with MLOps practices, model versioning, monitoring, and deployment strategies.
- Proficiency with AWS, GCP, or Azure ML services and infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, message queues, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, SQL and NoSQL database systems, API design, RESTful services, Git, and collaborative development workflows.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven ability to deliver complex AI projects from conception to production, with strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in agile development environments.
- Preferred qualifications include a PhD, agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain or AutoGen, agent orchestration patterns, advanced prompting, transformer architectures, LLMs, vector databases, RAG systems, MLflow, Kubeflow, multi-cloud architectures, LoRA/QLoRA, PEFT, Ray, FSDP, DeepSpeed, PyTorch Distributed, federated learning, edge AI, distributed training, real-time inference, and continuous model feedback loops.
- Open-source AI/ML contributions and publications in top-tier AI/ML conferences or journals are preferred.
