Responsibilities
- Design and develop secure, scalable, and high-performance backend APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Own end-to-end solution design, planning, execution, and release of backend features.
- Build backend services for recommendation systems, predictive analytics, monetization optimization, and intelligent ad delivery.
- Productionize and integrate machine learning models into backend systems for real-time decisioning.
- Design data models and optimize database queries, schemas, indexes, and performance.
- Implement API security using OAuth2, JWT, and role-based access controls.
- Build systems for high concurrency, large data volumes, and low-latency requirements.
- Implement logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting practices.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical decision-making.
- Collaborate with Analytics, Product, SDK, UI, ad server, DevOps, and QA teams.
- Use generative AI tools and prompt engineering to improve productivity and code quality.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in Java development in Linux or UNIX environments.
- Proficiency in Core Java, object-oriented programming, data structures, and J2EE technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
- Strong experience developing REST web services and microservices architectures.
- Proficiency in SQL, schema design, indexing, performance tuning, and complex queries.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Maven, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with high-performance and scalable AdTech systems is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Python and integration with AI/ML services.
- Understanding of RAG, agentic AI, model fine-tuning, and recommendation systems.
- Experience with JUnit, TDD, refactoring, and Agile development practices.
- Ability to work independently and drive technical ownership.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent degree from an institute or university.
