Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction, architecture, and end-to-end delivery of custom software and tax technology solutions.
- Partner with onshore teams, progressively own project workstreams, and maintain approximately one hour of daily overlap for handoffs and issue resolution.
- Manage multiple deployments, including resource allocation, project planning, scope control, budget management, documentation validation, and effort estimation.
- Configure and unit test e-Invoicing solutions and configure ERP systems for integrations.
- Design, troubleshoot, and assess technical integration components and their effect on solution design.
- Develop test scenarios, troubleshoot product and ERP issues, and ensure solution accuracy and performance.
- Document decisions, testing outcomes, open issues, and handoff notes for effective asynchronous collaboration.
- Deliver customer presentations, project updates, solution demonstrations, and training sessions.
- Communicate with and influence technical teams, nontechnical stakeholders, senior leaders, and customer executives.
- Mentor new team members on configuration and testing practices.
- Help establish the offshore practice's hiring framework, delivery standards, and implementation playbook.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of experience is required.
- Bachelor's degree and 7–10 years of related work experience are listed in the qualifications.
- Functional and technical understanding of finance systems and processes is required.
- Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 accounts receivable and accounts payable processes and related ISVs is required.
- Working knowledge of e-Invoicing regulations, technologies, tax compliance, and financial processes is required.
- Advanced understanding and demonstrated proficiency in API concepts, system integration, and troubleshooting are required.
- Strong project management, consulting, technology, operational management, process improvement, organizational, and multitasking skills are required.
- Experience supporting offshore or distributed delivery models, preferably with U.S.-based teams or clients, is preferred.
- Strong asynchronous communication, documentation, independent judgment, and cross-functional collaboration skills are required.
