Base Salary
$98k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Oversee technical execution across multiple AI/ML, data modernization, and GenAI workstreams.
- Define and validate scalable, reliable, and secure architectures and lead technical design reviews.
- Mentor senior developers, data scientists, and engineers and conduct code reviews.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and roadmaps with product managers and stakeholders.
- Write production code, build data pipelines and API services, and contribute to critical project paths.
- Operationalize machine learning models with Vertex AI and integrate them into clinical workflows.
- Troubleshoot critical production issues and perform root-cause analysis for complex incidents.
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in software engineering or related areas.
- At least 2+ years of experience in a Technical Lead or Principal Engineer capacity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Deep expertise with Google Cloud Platform services including Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Composer, Cloud Run, GKE, and Cloud Storage.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience with Vertex AI, LLM orchestration such as LangChain, and MLOps practices including model monitoring, feature stores, and automated retraining.
- Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD, Docker, and Terraform.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, explain technical trade-offs to non-technical leaders, and guide developers.
