Base Salary
$185k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own shipping useful product features to users on a weekly basis.
- Work on known features and fixes, prototypes, and exploratory projects.
- Make user-focused decisions and trade-offs in a small team.
- Maintain a high quality bar while balancing short-term delivery with extensible and maintainable systems.
- Own features in production and ensure they are scalable, resilient, and easy to operate.
- Contribute to UX, system design, and architecture discussions.
Requirements
- Strong technical aptitude across the backend and frontend tech stack, with strong computer science fundamentals.
- Professional experience contributing to software development teams at a mid-career to senior level.
- Above-average communication skills for explaining complex engineering topics to stakeholders across the company.
- Past experience or exposure to working with language models.
- Comfort writing asynchronous code and thinking defensively about error handling.
- Ability to answer technical questions involving concurrent Python code, JavaScript variable declarations, asynchronous server-to-client data transfer, and REST, GraphQL, and RPC.
