Base Salary
$179k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own, build, and maintain the common component library.
- Establish and uphold design patterns across the platform.
- Anticipate new patterns and prevent drift as the product expands.
- Translate high-fidelity designs into performant, reusable UI.
- Build prototypes and reference implementations for new patterns.
- Partner with product designers, PMs, and engineers to ensure alignment.
- Champion accessibility, performance, and consistency.
- Maintain the system's health over time with versioning and documentation.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience at the intersection of design and front-end engineering.
- Strong front-end engineering skills with React, TypeScript, and modern CSS.
- Experience building and maintaining a component library or design system.
- A strong eye for interaction and visual detail.
- Deep care for accessibility, performance, and consistency.
- Fluency in Figma and understanding of design tools and code synchronization.
- Systems-level thinking for reuse and scale.
- Excellent communication and a collaborative mindset.
