Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for mobile applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, usability, exploratory, API, compatibility, performance, accessibility, and security testing on Android and iOS applications.
- Validate functionality against business and technical requirements and identify, document, track, and verify defects.
- Perform API testing using Postman, Swagger, or REST Assured.
- Develop and maintain automated mobile test scripts and integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Prepare test reports, quality metrics, and release-readiness assessments.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and UX teams on requirements, testability, and quality risks.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and mentor junior QA engineers while driving mobile testing best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in mobile application testing.
- Experience testing Android and iOS applications, including mobile compatibility testing.
- Strong knowledge of Appium, manual testing, API testing, test case design and execution, defect tracking, SQL, STLC, and SDLC.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools, Agile/Scrum environments, and automated testing frameworks.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Preferred experience includes Selenium, Espresso, XCUITest, Flutter integration testing, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, JMeter, LoadRunner, Firebase Performance Monitoring, BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, Firebase Test Lab, mobile security testing, OWASP Mobile Security Guidelines, enterprise mobile applications, travel-domain experience, and relevant mobile testing or Scrum/Agile certifications.
