Responsibilities
- Own quality strategy for Cloud Security features and services across functional, integration, and end-to-end coverage.
- Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks and test infrastructure for APIs, services, distributed systems, and applicable UI workflows.
- Create testing approaches for detection and policy engines, including validation of false positives and false negatives.
- Design and execute performance, scale, and resilience tests across cloud resources and Kubernetes objects in multiple regions.
- Develop, execute, and improve automated test suites while analyzing failures, reporting issues, and driving resolution.
- Own validation from feature design through release, including planning, execution, triage, and sign-off.
- Identify gaps in testability, observability, reliability, and release readiness.
- Improve quality processes, dashboards, reporting, and CI signals.
- Mentor engineers on automation, debugging, and quality engineering practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in test automation or automation development.
- Strong product thinking and ability to translate customer workflows into effective test strategies.
- Hands-on experience building API and service-level automation for complex distributed systems and microservices.
- Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript; Go experience is a plus.
- Experience with Selenium and Playwright for UI automation.
- Experience testing services on at least one of AWS, GCP, or Azure and on Kubernetes with Docker.
- Experience debugging issues deeply and partnering with developers to drive fixes.
- Strong experience with Jenkins-based CI pipelines and test execution workflows.
- Experience with Allure or similar test reporting and insights platforms.
- Solid understanding of automation architecture, test design, and maintainable framework development.
- Interest in performance and scale testing, with strong problem-solving, ownership, collaboration, and self-management skills.
