Responsibilities

Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack software solutions.
Develop backend components with Java and Spring Boot and frontend components with Angular, React, or Vue.
Translate requirements and architecture into technical designs and working software.
Conduct architecture work and code reviews while introducing engineering best practices.
Create REST APIs according to OpenAPI specifications and integrate with other systems.
Build and maintain automated tests and safeguard code quality through test automation.
Work with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, version control, CI/CD, and monitoring tools.
Collaborate with functional analysts, developers, architects, and designers in an Agile Scrum team.
Present solutions to customers and stakeholders, process feedback, and defend technical decisions.
Contribute to knowledge sharing and the development of the software engineering community.

At least 5 years of professional experience as a Java developer.
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, Jenkins, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Postgres, and message brokers.
Experience with modern software architectures including microservices, event-driven, and cloud-native architectures.
Knowledge of Angular and other frontend technologies such as React or Vue.
Experience with CI/CD, Git, test automation, and monitoring.
Fluent communication in French or Dutch and English.
Strong communication, customer-facing, structured working, adaptability, and technical decision-making skills.
Kafka experience is preferred.
Experience with complex projects, Domain-Driven Design, Clean Code, TDD, BPMN, CMMN, OAuth2, or GitHub Copilot is an asset.
Apache Camel experience is a bonus.
