Responsibilities
- Develop new online banking customer processes as a Senior Frontend Engineer using Angular.
- Create reusable frontend components for online banking and other applications across multiple teams.
- Further develop critical online banking processes involving security procedures, payments, and transactions.
- Design highly scalable web applications that operate reliably under more than 50,000–100,000 parallel customer accesses.
- Act as the frontend contact person for engineers and other team members.
- Coach junior UI/UX and frontend engineers and deliver training sessions to development teams.
- Share knowledge through the frontend guild and other meetings.
- Contribute to the continuous development of colleagues and work in agile delivery teams.
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience and expert practical knowledge of single-page applications using Angular, RxJS, TypeScript, and REST-based APIs.
- Several years of professional experience with responsive design using HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and Bootstrap 4+.
- Advanced practical experience with frontend testing using Karma/Jasmine or Jest.
- Advanced practical knowledge of Node.js and REST services.
- Knowledge of WCAG 2 AA accessibility compliance.
- Experience with the Nx monorepository toolset is a plus.
- Experience coaching junior UI/UX engineers and supporting colleagues’ technical and methodological development.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, independence, initiative, and ability to work in agile delivery teams.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English; German is a plus.
- Interest in continuously learning and applying new technologies and programming languages.
