Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build real-time services that use large language models to extract structured knowledge from natural language.
- Develop reliable infrastructure for AI systems, addressing hallucinations, latency spikes, and model drift.
- Build pipelines that process millions of customer signals daily into durable, retrievable personalized data stores.
- Create monitoring and evaluation frameworks for AI outputs, including automated quality measurement and human-in-the-loop validation.
- Collaborate with Applied Scientists to move models from research prototypes to scaled production deployments.
- Build customer-facing feedback loops that improve system quality through real-world corrections.
- Own the full software lifecycle from infrastructure and deployment through alarms and on-call operations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems for reliability and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Experience developing and deploying LLMs in production on GPUs, Neuron, TPU, or other AI acceleration hardware, or experience designing and architecting reliable, scalable systems.
- Experience with knowledge graphs, vector databases, or information retrieval systems.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
