Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build real-time services using large language models to extract structured knowledge from natural language.
- Build reliable infrastructure that handles AI hallucinations, latency spikes, and model drift.
- Develop pipelines processing millions of customer signals daily into durable, retrievable personalized data stores.
- Create AI-output monitoring and evaluation frameworks with automated quality measurement and human-in-the-loop validation.
- Collaborate with Applied Scientists to move models from research prototypes to scaled production deployments.
- Build customer-facing feedback loops that improve system quality through real-world corrections.
- Own the full software lifecycle, including infrastructure, alarms, on-call operations, and incremental delivery.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Experience with non-relational databases or data stores, including object, document, key-value, graph, or column-family stores.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience covering coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
