Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine technology architecture strategies aligned with financial-services business goals and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Design scalable, secure, and resilient solutions for complex client challenges.
  • Collaborate with business leaders, IT experts, and third-party vendors to align technology solutions with business objectives.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve service offerings and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure architectures comply with financial regulations, security standards, and data protection laws.
  • Provide technical leadership across projects while supporting timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality outcomes.
  • Identify and mitigate technology risks and recommend improvements to system performance and user experience.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop architects and engineers.
  • Drive innovation by incorporating relevant FinTech advancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of solution architecture experience, preferably in the financial-services industry, with a record of successful project delivery.
  • Proficiency in modern technologies and architectural patterns, with familiarity with cloud services, cybersecurity, and infrastructure.
  • Deep understanding of financial-services operations, regulatory requirements, and emerging FinTech trends.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Strategic mindset for aligning technology solutions with business goals and driving continuous improvement.
  • Experience working with Agile methodology.
  • Relevant certifications such as TOGAF or AWS Certified Solutions Architect may be preferred or required.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
  • Experience with international teams, global markets, third-party vendors, and service providers is desirable.
  • Ability to work across multiple domains and systems and learn new technologies as needed.
