Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable, maintainable, secure, and high-performance software and AI/ML solutions.
- Build and scale agentic AI systems, LLM applications, model-serving platforms, and end-to-end MLOps pipelines.
- Make architectural decisions for multi-agent orchestration, tool use, planning, RAG, model serving, and distributed systems.
- Ensure enterprise-grade reliability, security, governance, observability, and risk controls for AI solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, senior leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Mentor engineering teams and less experienced specialists, provide technical direction, and contribute to technology strategy.
- Communicate complex technical architectures and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Participate in code reviews, promote code quality and knowledge sharing, and implement effective unit testing practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- At least 12 years of software engineering experience or experience designing and building scalable ML infrastructure, model-serving platforms, and enterprise-scale MLOps systems.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python with FastAPI and asynchronous patterns, and/or Go or Java, with experience building high-throughput, low-latency production systems.
- Strong experience developing agentic AI systems and LLM applications, including multi-agent orchestration, tool use, planning frameworks, and production deployment of multi-layered AI workflows.
- Deep knowledge of LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, and agentic frameworks such as Strands, LangGraph, and Google ADK.
- Hands-on experience with GenAI/LLM systems, model serving with vLLM, retrieval-augmented generation, loop engineering, and OpenAI-compatible APIs.
- Experience with AWS services including EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, RDS, and at least one of Bedrock or SageMaker.
- Hands-on experience containerizing applications with Docker and deploying them with Kubernetes.
- Experience with distributed-systems architecture, cloud platforms, active-active replication, failover strategies, and data-consistency patterns.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical architectures to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Preferred experience includes agent evaluation frameworks, benchmarking, reasoning traces, monitoring, observability, vector databases, knowledge graphs, semantic search, memory systems, AI safety guardrails, AI security frameworks, model fine-tuning, responsible AI, financial services, policy engines, zero-trust identity, and AI infrastructure cost attribution.
