Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality assurance, quality control, testing methodologies, processes, standards, and frameworks.
- Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test strategies, plans, and cases across multiple applications and services.
- Perform code and product reviews throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Identify, document, prioritize, triage, and track software defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and DevOps teams to integrate quality across the SDLC.
- Evaluate testing tools, frameworks, and industry practices and recommend continuous improvements.
- Coordinate testing dependencies across multiple delivery teams.
- Validate application functionality, performance, reliability, security, and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to CI/CD testing practices and validate code in non-production environments before release.
- Support user acceptance testing, release validation, and production deployment activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance, testing, or quality engineering.
- Experience developing QA methodologies, testing strategies, and quality standards.
- Experience conducting code and product reviews throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Experience creating, executing, and maintaining automated and manual test plans and cases.
- Experience identifying, documenting, prioritizing, and tracking software defects.
- Experience supporting software development teams and testing web applications, APIs, and enterprise software systems.
- Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, REST APIs, and modern web application architectures.
- Experience with tools such as Selenium, Cypress, SonarQube, Checkmarx, JMeter, and Cucumber, or similar technologies.
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include IAM, authentication, authorization, SSO, SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, AWS, DevSecOps, CI/CD, federal agency, and software testing certification experience.
