Base Salary
$124k - $207k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering for highly complex applications and deliver high-quality, maintainable software.
- Shape user experiences and scalable customer-order notification applications across the order lifecycle.
- Maintain production software, triage issues, and resolve operational problems.
- Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, participate in pair programming, and promote reusable, modular, performant software.
- Drive complex technical initiatives with Architects and partner with IT Management on solution design and delivery.
- Improve continuous delivery practices, CI/CD pipelines, test strategies, and build automation.
- Lead knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to engineering culture and technical learning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science or a similar field.
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable applications.
- Expert programming knowledge involving JVM, Kotlin, TypeScript, React, or similar languages.
- Strong backend engineering focus with working knowledge of frontend development.
- Knowledge of distributed-system design, integration patterns, Kafka, and event-driven data-streaming architectures.
- Experience leading monolith-to-microservices evolution and shaping cross-team technical strategies.
- Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Datadog, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and DevOps practices.
- Preferred familiarity with backend-for-frontend concepts or Node.js backend APIs.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate complex technical problems and practices.
