Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain features in SimCorp’s Accounting product areas.
- Contribute across requirements analysis, design, implementation, test automation, documentation, and ongoing support.
- Collaborate with teammates, Product Managers, Architects, and peers to deliver secure, high-quality solutions.
- Participate in team meetings, cross-team feature refinements, and planning sessions.
- Drive innovation, technical excellence, quality, best practices, and continuous improvement.
- Understand product strategy, business goals, and customer needs to enhance products and maximize their impact.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in software engineering.
- Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures.
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented or functional programming language; C# is preferred.
- Familiarity with modern engineering tools and practices, including CI/CD and trunk-based development.
- Experience working with relational databases and SQL.
- Willingness to learn in-house tools and frameworks, including the APL programming language.
- Readiness to work in a complex accounting domain involving financial and investment-related instruments.
- Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency, both written and spoken.
- Experience with cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure, is valued.
- Experience with large-scale enterprise systems and the fintech domain is valued.
