Base Salary
$144k - $223k/yr
Responsibilities
- Research, design, develop, analyze, test, and implement software systems.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable frontend, backend, API, and full-stack solutions.
- Own system quality, performance, scalability, and reliability within the assigned domain.
- Lead design discussions, code reviews, technical troubleshooting, and resolution of production issues.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to team effectiveness, technical direction, and continuous improvement.
- Identify and resolve technical risks, dependencies, technical debt, and engineering challenges.
- Write and maintain complete documentation and communicate project status and significant issues to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 years of experience building and delivering full-stack applications.
- Experience developing web applications and APIs using Java, Node.js, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with frontend frameworks such as Angular or similar frameworks.
- Experience with service-based or modular architectures and system design decisions.
- Understanding of scalable architecture, API design, system integration, cloud-native development, performance, and reliability.
- Ability to work across multiple programming languages and frameworks and select appropriate tools for each problem.
- Preferred experience includes AWS or other cloud platforms, Spring Boot, deployment practices, observability tools, SQL, data modeling, and API integration.
- Preferred experience with GitHub, JIRA, VS Code, IntelliJ, mentoring engineers, and acting as a technical lead.
- Strong communication, collaboration, ownership, adaptability, risk management, and cross-functional influence skills.
