Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems using Java and Python.
- Lead backend architecture decisions focused on scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with Angular and Flutter engineers to deliver web and mobile solutions.
- Optimize databases, system integrations, application performance, and reliability.
- Implement cloud-native solutions and contribute to infrastructure automation.
- Drive engineering practices for testing, CI/CD, observability, and secure software development.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical leadership, and architectural guidance.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and participate in technical strategy and platform modernization.
- Contribute to engineering standards, documentation, continuous improvement, and technical strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong backend development expertise with Java and Python and experience building scalable APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Experience with Spring Boot, FastAPI, Flask, Django, or similar backend frameworks.
- Understanding of full-stack application architecture and working knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, and frontend integration patterns.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and DevOps practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, debugging, communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.
- Preferred experience includes event-driven architectures, message queues, GraphQL, API gateways, high-availability or enterprise-scale systems, Flutter architectures, Terraform, monitoring and observability platforms, and agile product delivery.
