Responsibilities
- Design and develop a cloud-first suite of Unreal Engine build systems and tools.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code for consistency and reproducibility.
- Operate and support AWS infrastructure associated with build systems.
- Administer Perforce environments used by the studios.
- Optimize systems for cost, scalability, and latency with studio development teams.
- Define performance, observability, and maintainability standards for build pipelines.
- Partner with and mentor studio engineers adopting and extending shared systems.
- Explore new build technologies, cloud capabilities, and artificial intelligence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- More than 3 years of software development experience.
- Experience with compiled languages such as C#, Golang, or TypeScript and scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or JavaScript.
- Strong experience developing infrastructure as code with AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
- Experience administering or deep expertise with Perforce.
- Understanding of cloud solution patterns including microservices, messaging, distributed caching, containers, networking, and IAM, with experience building AWS solutions.
- Ability to build trust and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with Unreal Engine or other game engines is an asset.
