Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain custom SFRA cartridges and ISML templates within Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C.
- Integrate REST, OCAPI, and SCAPI endpoints with frontend applications for headless and hybrid implementations.
- Develop responsive, accessible, compliant, and performant interfaces using TypeScript, React, Tailwind, SCSS, and Handlebars.
- Configure and customize Page Designer components and multi-site or multi-locale setups.
- Translate UX/UI designs into reusable and maintainable frontend components.
- Conduct code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and uphold engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot performance, security, and integration issues.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to frontend architecture, prioritization, and technical-debt management.
- Contribute to frontend build and deployment tooling and stay current with SFCC and frontend technologies.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional frontend engineering experience, including at least 1 year integrating with Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C.
- Proficiency with SFRA, ISML templating, cartridge structure, and Page Designer.
- Strong experience with TypeScript, React, Tailwind, SCSS, and Handlebars.
- Experience consuming and building REST APIs, including OCAPI and SCAPI.
- Experience with Node for tooling, build processes, and applicable server-side rendering, along with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of web metrics, security, SEO, accessible web experiences, and WCAG AA compliance.
- Experience writing tests with tools such as Jest, Playwright, Vitest, or Cypress.
- Ability to lead frontend project work, own architecture decisions, mentor teammates, and work independently.
- Experience with AI-assisted tooling.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred experience with headless or hybrid CMS integration, ideally Magnolia, personalization or A/B testing tools integrated with SFCC, frontend build and deployment tooling, and small engineering team leadership.
