Responsibilities
- Build, test, implement, and support scalable web and cloud software applications using multiple programming languages and development tools.
- Design complex software systems and subsystems and contribute to architecture decisions from concept through production release.
- Develop technology frameworks and collaborate with technology experts, Product Owners, architects, testers, and R&D management.
- Analyze requirements for data, workflows, logical processes, hardware and operating system environments, and system interfaces.
- Perform complex development including coding, code reviews, unit testing, debugging, cybersecurity-aligned development, and documentation.
- Contribute to release planning, delivery timelines, sprint execution, scope tracking, and identification of technical or procedural risks.
- Develop and maintain automated unit and integration tests and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Coach and mentor junior staff and peers and own development methodologies, principles, designs, and best practices.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented concepts, design patterns, design principles, and SOLID principles.
- Technical proficiency with C#, .NET, Web API, REST API, and SQL database technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Azure, including Azure Functions, App Services, Service Fabric, networking, storage, and identity concepts such as Auth0 or IdentityServer.
- Familiarity or hands-on experience with IaaS, SaaS, PaaS, and microservice architectures.
- Experience designing and developing frameworks with a security-first mindset and using security tools and SDL processes.
- Experience migrating projects from legacy technologies to current technologies.
- Ability to build automated unit and integration tests that demonstrate code quality.
- Experience with software configuration, build deployment, release management, infrastructure, DevOps, and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to coach and mentor less experienced colleagues and communicate effectively with broad cross-functional groups.
- React web application development experience is desirable.
