Responsibilities
- Own strategic initiatives to improve the quality, testability, resilience, and performance of the entire product.
- Lead the SDET team in developing and executing unit tests and advanced test automation frameworks.
- Create strategic test plans and coordinate thorough testing of software functionality with other teams.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on testing approaches, test coverage, risk mitigation, and project objectives.
- Evaluate testing technologies and guide adoption of new tools and frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or a related field.
- Over 8 years of experience in software testing, focused on test automation and unit testing.
- Comprehensive knowledge of testing frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, and JUnit, along with CI/CD tools.
- Exposure to web development frameworks and frontend code.
- Experience solving technical challenges involving scale or complexity.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Experience in a SaaS product company or bootstrapped high-growth startup is preferred.
