Base Salary
$98k - $174k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end product capabilities across frontend and backend systems, including user-facing applications, backend services, and APIs.
- Enhance agent tools, workflow engines, and automation platforms that support customer service operations.
- Contribute to AI-powered orchestration layers, automation systems, agent workflows, and intent-to-action capabilities.
- Improve the scalability, reliability, performance, testing, and technical quality of core systems.
- Collaborate with Product, SRE, and multifunctional engineering teams on designs, code reviews, and engineering practices.
- Reduce technical debt, drive operational improvements, participate in a follow-the-sun on-call rotation, mentor junior engineers, and lead smaller workstreams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of full-stack software engineering experience, including Java 11+ and Spring Boot for backend development and JavaScript or TypeScript for frontend development.
- Experience building REST APIs, distributed systems, and responsive web applications with React, Angular, or similar technologies.
- Understanding of messaging systems such as Kafka and experience using SQL and NoSQL databases in production.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, modern software delivery tools, and testing across unit, integration, and frontend layers.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, collaboration, design discussion, code review, and multifunctional delivery skills.
- Interest in or familiarity with AI-assisted development and AI-powered systems, including LLMs, prompts, orchestration frameworks, agent workflows, or intent-driven automation.
- Experience with customer support systems, observability tools, secure application design, or state management is a plus.
