Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain the product’s most critical systems.
- Develop reliable full-stack features that improve freight-forwarding workflows.
- Evaluate, benchmark, fine-tune, and integrate AI and LLM capabilities for domain accuracy and contextual performance.
- Experiment with new model releases, frameworks, and agentic techniques in production.
- Ship, measure, and iterate on product and AI approaches using data and user feedback.
- Improve large-scale legacy codebases to add structure and scalability.
- Engineer infrastructure and automation for heavy data and AI workloads.
- Collaborate closely with founders and teammates as a hands-on, high-ownership contributor.
Requirements
- Hands-on AI, ML, and LLM experience, including benchmarking, fine-tuning, integration, and production experimentation.
- Strong full-stack engineering ability across backend and cloud environments.
- Fluency in Python.
- Ability to engineer for scale, automate systems, and work with complex legacy codebases.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, adaptability, autonomy, and disciplined execution.
- Two to three years of professional experience preferred, with strong project track records also welcomed.
- Prior startup or entrepreneurial experience is a plus.
- Willingness to work on-site in Munich.
Benefits
- Salary of €60,000–€90,000 annually.
- Meaningful equity participation, with options up to approximately 1.5%.
