Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend microservices for the Reflex network automation platform.
- Build intent-based APIs, orchestration logic, event-driven workflows, and abstract network service models.
- Integrate with UI systems, ServiceNow, business APIs, DNS, IPAM, firewalls, load balancers, cloud networking constructs, and on-premise network services.
- Develop or refine Vue.js and Quasar user interfaces that enable self-service cloud operations workflows.
- Deliver infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines for automated service management.
- Define scalable architecture for global, multi-tenant, high-availability distributed systems.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive engineering standards, design patterns, and collaboration with Product Owners and Architects.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong Java expertise with Spring Boot, Hibernate, Gradle, REST API design, and PostgreSQL/SQL.
- Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as Vue.js, Quasar, React, or Angular.
- Knowledge of microservices, event-driven systems, Kafka, distributed-systems debugging, and cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform.
- Networking knowledge covering TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, IPAM, routing, VLANs, VPC/VNet connectivity, Direct Connect, and ExpressRoute.
- Ability to design large-scale, highly available systems, translate business intent into technical implementations, lead design, and mentor engineers.
- Kotlin, Kafka event streaming, ServiceNow integration, telecoms experience, or financial-infrastructure experience are beneficial.
