Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the planning, design, and development of new software solutions.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to understand requirements and design software that meets product needs.
- Support merging codebases across multiple project streams and contribute to coding best practices.
- Solve complex problems with scalable, secure, maintainable software solutions.
- Define coding standards, contribute to technical innovation, and ensure adherence to architectural standards.
- Mentor and support software development team members and contribute to software development best practices.
- Build or maintain cloud-native applications and troubleshoot large-scale distributed systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Typically 8+ years of hands-on object-oriented programming experience using Java, Python, and/or JavaScript UI frameworks.
- Experience with AngularJS or ReactJS, microservice architecture, end-to-end UI/API integration, and REST, gRPC, or GraphQL protocols.
- Experience designing highly scalable, secure, and maintainable software and drafting coding best practices.
- Knowledge of caching technologies and DBMS technologies including Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, including database schema design.
- Experience building large-scale platforms handling real-time complex transactions and troubleshooting distributed systems.
- Experience with cloud-native applications; AWS, AWS Lambda, Docker, and Kubernetes experience is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
