Responsibilities
- Design and industrialize Unreal Engine CI/CD pipelines for build, cook, package, and deployment across PC, console, and mobile.
- Architect and scale a Kubernetes-based Internal Developer Platform using Helm and containerized microservices.
- Implement automated quality gates, build provenance, rollback readiness, and release processes for branching, promotion, and versioning.
- Optimize Perforce streams, workspaces, and synchronization performance at scale.
- Operate hybrid on-premises and cloud infrastructure with metrics, monitoring, uptime, latency, and cost/performance considerations.
- Develop internal tooling and self-service capabilities that reduce developer friction and enable reliable playable builds.
- Track build time, failure rate, capacity, and cost as production metrics and collaborate with developers, QA, production, and technical leadership.
Requirements
- Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines in a game-production context, preferably with Unreal Engine.
- Experience supporting multiple platforms such as PC, console, and mobile.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code, hybrid cloud and on-premises environments, and an SRE-oriented operating model.
- Hands-on experience with Perforce at scale.
- Familiarity with Horde, Zen Server, or equivalent build and orchestration systems.
- Ability to build internal tooling, automate recurring workflows, and communicate technical trade-offs collaboratively.
