Base Salary

$144k - $243k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Architect and build LLM-orchestrated workflows combining deterministic RPA, data-pattern reasoning, tool and API calling, and structured outputs.
  • Extend and modernize the Automation Anywhere estate by migrating screen-scraped bots to API- and agent-based patterns.
  • Build production reliability capabilities including evaluation harnesses, regression suites, confidence thresholds, approval gates, fallback paths, and audit logging.
  • Integrate agents with SAP, data platforms, ticketing systems, and internal APIs through standardized tool interfaces and event-driven triggers.
  • Apply document and language intelligence to invoices, purchase orders, retailer chargebacks, licensing agreements, and vendor correspondence.
  • Set engineering standards for reusable components, automation versioning, code review, observability, and model cost-per-run monitoring.
  • Partner with Security and Legal on responsible AI, data handling, PII boundaries, model selection, access controls, and decision trails.
  • Mentor automation engineers, run proofs of concept, assess the automation ecosystem, and make build-versus-buy recommendations.

Requirements

  • Deep production experience in automation engineering with Automation Anywhere or a comparable enterprise RPA platform.
  • Hands-on experience building LLM-backed applications using composition, function or tool calling, RAG, structured outputs, and agent orchestration frameworks.
  • Practical experience testing, evaluating, and monitoring non-deterministic systems whose outputs vary between runs.
  • Strong background leading teams and delivering ambitious projects.
  • Demonstrated technical influence without formal authority, including setting standards, mentoring engineers, and aligning collaborators around architecture.
  • Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
