Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to define objectives and technical scope for demonstrations.
- Serve as the technical authority on Apollo's capabilities and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Design demonstration scenarios that reflect real customer problems and workflows.
- Develop and maintain demonstration-specific simulation environments.
- Build and own the Apollo demonstration environment, ensuring it meets technical and experiential standards.
- Drive demonstration readiness through rigorous rehearsal and systematic testing.
- Own all aspects of live demonstration execution, including pre-flight checks and real-time operation.
- Engage with visitors during live events and support presenters.
- Lead post-demonstration reviews to capture outcomes and feedback.
- Manage multiple demonstration requests concurrently with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Master's preferred.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in a customer-facing engineering role.
- Proven track record of delivering live demonstrations to executive and VIP audiences.
- Expertise in robotics software, including C++, Python, and ROS in a Linux environment.
- Strong understanding of robotic concepts such as kinematics, dynamics, and motion planning.
- Extensive experience with robotics simulation tools like NVIDIA Isaac Sim or Gazebo.
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to align cross-functional stakeholders on demonstration objectives.
