Base Salary
$136k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, provision, and manage GCP infrastructure including Cloud Run, GKE, and Redis/Memorystore using Terraform and Puppet.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, and CircleCI, including testing gates, canary deployments, blue-green deployments, and artifact promotion.
- Design and maintain DNS, load balancing, CDN, WAF, edge compute, bot management, authentication, and rate-limiting infrastructure using NGINX, GCP Cloud Load Balancing, Cloudflare, and Cloud Armor.
- Operate and tune container orchestration for AI workloads, including autoscaling, resource quotas, cold-start optimization, and compute right-sizing.
- Implement structured logging, metrics, dashboards, distributed tracing, SLO/SLI definitions, and alerting using Cloud Logging, ELK/Kibana, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Coordinate incident response and blameless post-mortems.
- Implement least-privilege IAM, Workload Identity, network segmentation, firewall rules, and VPC Service Controls.
- Evaluate, build, and integrate infrastructure tooling and custom automation in Python or managed AI serving platforms.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering with direct operational ownership of production systems.
- Deep Linux systems administration experience with Debian and Ubuntu at scale.
- Strong hands-on experience with GCP services including Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Build, IAM, and VPC.
- Strong infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform and Puppet.
- Experience designing and maintaining complex CI/CD delivery pipelines using Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, and CircleCI.
- Hands-on experience with NGINX and edge infrastructure at scale, including DNS, load balancing, and CDN such as Cloudflare or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience with distributed monitoring and logging stacks including Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Kibana, and Cloud Logging.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, and shell scripting for infrastructure automation and custom tooling.
- Experience designing infrastructure with least-privilege IAM, Workload Identity, and compliance controls.
- Experience with ML infrastructure is preferred.

- National base salary range of $135,960-$203,940 per year, with potential eligibility for variable compensation, equity, and benefits according to local policies.
